About The Jennerjahn Horizontal Case Packer (JHCP)
The Jennerjahn Horizontal Case Packer (JHCP) is an automated system designed to efficiently fill RSC-style cases with finished roll products. Engineered for precision and reliability, the JHCP streamlines every stage of the case packing process—from case erection to sealing—reducing manual labor and increasing production throughput.
A horizontal magazine automatically feeds and opens cases using pneumatically actuated suction cups, while finished rolls are conveyed into the machine and guided for consistent alignment. Servo-driven stations form precise layer patterns and load the completed stack into each erected case. The flaps are then automatically folded and sealed with a Nordson Hot Melt Glue System, which maintains optimal adhesive consistency through precise temperature control and an auto-fill feature that keeps the glue tank full for uninterrupted operation.
Once glue is applied, case sealing clamps hold the case securely until the adhesive sets, ensuring a clean, reliable seal. The fully packed and sealed cases then discharge smoothly onto the exit conveyor, ready for shipment or palletizing.
Additional features include a user-friendly operator interface terminal for easy setup and monitoring, remote internet connectivity for Jennerjahn service support, and a three-phase isolation transformer that provides electrical protection and voltage conversion. For safety, the JHCP is fully enclosed with guarded access doors, combining high performance with operator peace of mind.
