Cores ranging from 2.00 to 3.50 inches in diameter are automatically fed from a standard table or optional hopper into the core loader, and placed into the winding station. Jennerjahn’s shaftless rewind technology uses easily interchangeable chucks for various core diameters to secure the cores during the winding cycle. Roll starts are achieved with a tuck blade for non-adhesive starts or transfer adhesive applied automatically to the core.

After winding, the tails are automatically cut and secured to the roll by glue or adhesive sealing tabs. The finished rolls from 4 to 18 inches in diameter are then transferred by conveyor to a packing table or down-stream roll processing equipment.
