Description
Jennerjahn Machine offers a variety of product labeling and printing options for the core, finished roll or box being packaged.
Box Labels
An in-line print and apply label applicator can be easily integrated into a converting line prior to packaging. As a box travels past the label applicator, the label with product specific information is applied to the box.
Core I.D. Printing
Product identification information can be printed directly to the inside diameter of the core. The finished roll will stop momentarily on the conveyor to allow the print head to pass in front of the I.D. of the core. Ink is applied directly to the core eliminating the need to add a pre-printed label to the core.
Roll Labels
An in-line print and apply label applicator can be easily integrated into a packaging line. As a set of finished rolls travel past the label applicator, the label with product specific information is applied to the outside diameter of the roll.
RFID Write/Read
Radio Frequency Identification, commonly known as RFID, is available in label form and can be automatically inserted into the ID of a core to ensure traceability of the roll throughout the packaging line. The labels can be pre-printed or printed prior to being applied to the core. Once applied, data identifying a variety of characteristics is written to the label.
Finished rolls can be individually packaged according to the RFID information being read. Roll quality, box and plug sizes, box labeling and palletizing can all be automatically processed utilizing RFID technology.
I.T.I. Inline Thermal Imaging
An in-line thermal imaging system can be easily integrated into a converting line prior to packaging. As a set of finished thermal rolls passes under the unit, heat is used to image the outer wrap of the roll with no danger of penetrating additional layers. Product logos and reorder information can be easily added to every roll without any consumable expense because no label or ink is necessary.
