Description
High quality, precision ground solid shafts eliminate core-related product quality issues. An automated shaft handler transfers and positions shafts from the roll stripping station to the winding station. Jennerjahn’s innovative coreless rewind technology utilizes similar chuck tooling as the JJF to secure the shaft during the winding cycle. After winding, the tails are automatically cut and secured to the roll using the standard glue system or an optional adhesive tab sealing system. The finished rolls are then stripped from the shaft and transferred to the exit conveyor. The CJJF continues to run in a fully automatic mode as the shaft handler picks up the shaft and stages it for the next cycle.
Advantages of coreless rolls include; the elimination of core costs, inventory space and environmental issues with core waste. Jennerjahn Machine’s patented coreless POL rolls are more than twice as resistant to crush than honeycomb cored POS rolls.
Customers with an existing JJS, JJF or DJJF manufactured in the year 2000 or later can take advantage of this patented coreless rewind technology by adding a retrofit to their machine.
