In just 13 months since the fire that devastated Jennerjahn Machine, the company has fully resumed operations in its brand-new facility in Matthews, Indiana.
To mark this milestone, an Open House was held in mid-February, welcoming employees, family, friends, vendors, customers, and the local community for a tour and celebration of the company’s remarkable recovery.
“One of the exciting parts about the new building is that we have been able to start with a blank slate and rearrange the flow of our manufacturing process. It’s much more streamlined,” said Roger Vogel, President of Jennerjahn Machine.
The new facility features a 24,000-square-foot machine assembly area, allowing Jennerjahn to build multiple slitter rewinder machines simultaneously while seamlessly integrating downstream robotic packaging systems.
Already, two machines have been built and shipped from the new facility this year, with 12 more orders currently in various stages of production. With a fresh start in an optimized workspace, Jennerjahn Machine is poised for continued growth and innovation.
