Jennerjahn Machine continues to experience remarkable progress as they recover from the fire that severely damaged their facility on December 26, 2023. Their new building, which is being built on the same site as the old, is well on its way.
The new expansion that was already in progress prior to the fire, is fully operational. The old assembly area that was damaged by soot and smoke is semi-operational. It will soon be mated to the new building, which consists of additional assembly space and a 2-story office structure.
About 30% of Jennerjahn’s workforce is working in Matthews while 70% remain in a temporary facility in Marion until construction is complete. The company plans to have all operations back in Matthews by the end of this year.
