The JJF model is the highest level of automation featured on all Jennerjahn small roll surface rewinders.  Automation levels include; Semi-Manual, Semi-Auto, and Fully Automatic.

Description

Typical Uses:   The JJF is utilized in high volume applications where full automation is necessary.  The JJF is very versatile and can be used for a wide variety of converted products.  Some roll types include point of sale, ATM, lottery ticket, airline boarding passes, pressure sensitive labels and much more.

Operator Responsibilities Per Cycle:   None!

Automation:   Cores are automatically fed into a sorting unit where they are aligned and staged in the autoloader.  The machine inserts the cores into the rewinding station, cuts the tails, wraps the tails around the cores, tucks the tails, winds the roll to the desired length, transfers the rolls to the seal station, seals the tails of the finished rolls, transfers the rolls to an exit conveyor and conveys the rolls outside of the machine.

Small Roll Kick-Out Assist & Roll Catch:  The small roll kick-out assist feature is used on the tail tuck mechanism when running small diameter rolls.  At the end of a cycle, the tuck bar assembly automatically pivots the tuck blade to the correct angle and extends into the nip point to assist during the roll eject sequence.  A Roll Catch feature in the seal station utilizes a plate to engage in the seal bed roll station and allow the small wound rolls the travel from the winding station to the seal station and stay aligned.

         

         

About The JJF Fully Automatic Surface Rewinder

The JJF requires minimal operator involvement to keep the machine running in a fully-automatic mode. This model minimizes labor while increasing productivity and product quality.

Jennerjahn’s shaftless rewind technology replaces outdated and inefficient rewind mandrel systems by using easily interchangeable chucks for various core diameters to secure the cores during the winding cycle. After winding, the tails are automatically cut and secured to the roll using the standard glue system or an optional adhesive tab sealing system.  The finished rolls are then transferred by conveyor to a packing table or to an optional roll processing line and JCP roll packaging line.

The separate unwind stand and rewinder frame offer greater flexibility add optional features such as adhesive tab tail sealing, dual web or Jennerjahn’s patented coreless technology.

All Jennerjahn small roll surface rewinders feature two bedrollers and a top rider roller that applies programmable torque and regulated down pressure to accurately control tension and roll hardness throughout the winding cycle.
